Chatham Place regeneration scheme in the centre of Reading. This £24m development will see the creation of two new apartment blocks containing 184. Reading has soared to new heights with the highest point being reached in the construction of the tallest residential building in the town.

It will house two and three bedroom apartments with shops on the ground floor and a public urban garden over two buildings of nine and 19 storeys along with 2055 sq. ft. of ground floor retail space.

QFS have were appointed to carry out the project given their experience with high-rise complex structures. QFS were asked to deliver a scheme that would leave the basement area of the build free throughout the works to allow storage and program flexibility. The high profile project also required some challenging radial scaffolds that could be adapted for a multitude of trades as the build progressed.
